Sneak A Peek Ultrasound is not licensed to practice medicine. Images are not taken for the purpose of diagnosing medical disease or conditions. If any medical concerns or issues exist, the family should immediately contact a licensed medical physician or go to the nearest emergency facility.
If you are having a gender sonogram it is best to have a full bladder. For a 3d/4d ultrasound it is best to have something in your bladder, this lifts the baby out of your pelvis. If the baby is positioned facing the back, emptying your bladder can sometimes get the baby to turn.
NO! Drink plenty of water! The more hydrated you are, the clearer your images will be. Drink 4-5 20 oz bottles per day starting 4-5 days before your appointment.
NO! Your provider will want a comprehensive anatomy scan to check that the pregnancy is progressing normally and the baby is developing well. What we do does not replace the needed medical scans your doctor will order for diagnostic purposes.
Since this is a non-medical scan, it is not covered by Medicaid or Insurance. We accept cash, credit or debit.
Yes, in most cases we can determine the gender of your baby by 16 weeks. If baby decides to keep legs crossed or be in a difficult position and does not allow us to see, we will do a return visit at no charge.
Absolutely! This is such a special time in your life; we want you to be able to share this unforgettable experience with those closest to you. Our facility allows space for you to bring up to 5 guests with you.
If you are only planning on one 3D 4D ultrasound, we would recommend having it between 28 weeks and 32 weeks.
20-26 weeks will generally give you more pictures of the baby’s body, while 28-32 weeks will generally be better for pictures of your little one’s face.
Many mothers opt to have 2 ultrasounds done. One between 20-26 wks, and the second between 28-32 wks, as this is a great way to compare your baby’s growth!
While we make every attempt to obtain the best images possible, we have no control over how the baby is positioned inside mom. We will do everything in our bag of tricks to get the baby into a better position, but there is no guarantee this will work. Our policy is to allow one redo which must be done on a weekday
